Spanish Courses for Grades K-12

SUR offers in-person, online, and hybrid Spanish courses for students in grades K–12, including Independent Study Programs (ISP) for high school students. In-person classes can be arranged at the student's school (e.g., before school, after school, or during a free period). Course pricing and availability depend on the location and the number of students enrolled.

SUR's Spanish courses align with the ACTFL World Readiness Standards, State Standards, and National Standards for world language learning. Accelerated and Heritage Speaker options are available. This is SUR’s Spanish Curriculum Outline and Course Description for Elementary, Middle, and High school.

Starting in middle school, after successful completion of a course e.g. Spanish 1, students receive a Certificate of Completion and a detailed course summary outlining the curriculum and content covered. Please note that final placement and the awarding of high school credit are determined solely by the receiving school or school district.
